We live in NE Alabama, in a rural area. We have plenty of fenced yard with a forest area for the doggies to roam. I wanted them to sometimes just be dogs. It makes me feel good to watch my little dachshunds run free, hunt squirrels and roam. They are in and out all day long. Especially when it's cold. At night, they are inside with us and sleep in their crates in their bedroom.
I make sure they get plenty of exercise and discipline. I feed them Ultra Nutro. I AM their pack leader. Thank you, Dog Whisperer!
Both of the boys are CGC certified. The girls seem to start their heat cycle when classes are offered. Obedience is my "thing". My doggies aim to please. Especially if cheese if involved. Obedience, temperament and personality is what I look for when I breed. Of course, cuteness is a factor, too. Please see
